Mountlake Village is above the rest. A 302 resident unit, diversely mixed-use property amongst the town center is thoughtfully geared towards creating a luxe and comfortable living headquarters for the ever expanding region. In celebration of Mountlake Terrace’s namesake, the village highlights the city’s demarkation of sitting on a plateau with views of natural beauty by creating moments of elevation throughout the amenities.
Through the use of scale, a hierarchy of sculpted, specialty casework and furnishings is crea ted as plateaus, mesas, and buttes. Reinforcing this terrain, cues of the gradation of the earth are discovered throughout the combination of textural, dimensional shifts on various planes and the layers of hues of the landscape. This is truly elevated living.
As lead designer, my scope included, but was not limited to: amenity programming, design vision and concepting, space planning, design development presentations with fully-specified finishes, managing completed permit construction drawings, custom fabrications and initial shop drawings, original experiential graphic design, and coordination / management between interiors and external architecture partners.
